Care Kits & Community

"N Her Footsteps: Care Kits & Community" is packing bundles of care - EmpowerHer Kits and Confidence Kits - to help students in the community.

On April 5, 2025, thanks to your generous donations and the assistance of incredible volunteers, we assembled:
- 521 EmpowerHer Kits
- 226 Youth Confidence Kits
- 180 Kids Confidence Kits

This is the essence of Building Community Together.

Packing EmpowerHer Kits:
Students who struggle to afford menstrual supplies often feel the need to ask teachers or school staff for feminine hygiene products. This lack of access can result in sme students missing school when they do not have tampons or menstrual pads available at home. A recent study found that nearly one in five American girls have either left school early or missed classes altogether due to the lack of necessary menstrual supplies. By providing feminine hygiene products to the schools they can create an environment of understanding and support, helping young girls feel safe and confident during their menstrual cycles.
Packing Confidence Kits:
Providing personal hygiene products to students is essential for their health and well-being, enabling regular school attendance and focus on studies. It helps prevent embarrassment, boosts self-esteem, and reduces the spread of germs and diseases. Students lacking hygiene products may miss school, impacting learning. Confidence Kits will offer items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant to support students, especially those from low-income families.
